About
I build and work inside complex systems — mostly cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, and the automation that connects them. The problems I find most interesting aren't strictly technical. They're about how systems actually behave once real people, real constraints, and real incentives get involved.
By day, I'm an architect focused on Azure and AI. My work bridges the gap between "we have an idea" and "this thing runs in production and doesn't break." That means I move through the full arc — discovery, design, implementation, optimization — and I care as much about what happens after handoff as I do about the architecture itself.
I tend to challenge assumptions, including my own. I'd rather build something sustainable than something impressive. And I've learned to be skeptical of solutions that sound great in a deck but haven't met a compliance review or a real ops team yet.
Outside of that, I tinker. Mostly with AI tools and agents — not because I think they'll change everything overnight, but because I want to understand what they're actually good at and where they quietly fall apart.
This site is where I write about what I notice. Systems, tradeoffs, failure modes, and the occasional half-formed idea I haven't finished thinking through yet.
